Oak Fire is 55 percent contained, officials say

Another fire impacted Mariposa County, this time the extreme eastern portion. The Oak Fire was reported at 3:44 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22 near Lonesome Oak Lane and Bassett Station Road in Ahwahnee.
