The 2020 process for students to apply to the Yosemite Community Scholarship is ongoing.
Scholarships are available for students enrolling in colleges, universities and vocational schools in 2020. Historic scholarship amounts have ranged from $500 to $2,500.
1. Graduating from high school between September 2019 and August 2020.
2. At least one of the following:
A. At least one parent or guardian has worked for at least 6 of the previous 12 months within the boundaries of Yosemite National Park, the El Portal Administrative Site, or the NPS office in Mariposa for either National Park Service, Yosemite Hospitality (Aramark), The Ansel Adams Gallery, Yosemite Conservancy, NatureBridge, or Mariposa County Unified School District. The student must live with this parent or guardian at least 50 percent of the year.
B. Currently lives in the enrollment area of El Portal School, Yosemite Valley School, or Wawona School.
