Residents in Mariposa County may be eligible to get financial assistance to replace outdated wood stoves.
Dr. Eric Sergienko, the county health officer, made the announcement last week during a meeting of the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors.
Though the program details are still being hammered out, Sergienko said monies will become available for the program. It appears there will be $90,000 available in the first phase of the program.
