Cody Wichmann’s foggy future in the National Football League appears to be clearer.
Wichmann, who found a spot on the practice squad of the Tennessee Titans this season after being cut by the Los Angeles Rams, has been signed to a “futures” contract by the Titans.
A futures contract is essentially the same as a regular active-roster contract, but there is a key difference. Futures contracts don’t take effect until the start of the next league year.
