The FEMA saga has not stopped for county officials

Even after last week’s storm, officials still struggling to get funds from 2017

You might think issues involving heavy rains and problems with roads in Mariposa County might have to do with last week.
And though there is some of that, county officials are still dealing with the floods of February 2017 — and lack of federal action.
Following those monsoons, many roads were heavily damaged in the county, a lot of it involving erosion.
That was just before several major hurricanes struck the United States, as well as other “normal” emergencies like tornadoes and blizzards.
