Study on homelessness will launch this evening





A $25,000 study designed to take the pulse of the county’s homeless population starts at the Mariposa Open Arms shelter this evening.
“Intensive interviews” with local people who use the facility will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Mariposa United Methodist Church, 4991 6th Street, project coordinator Janet Gass of the county’s Human Services Department said.
