Small quake reported in area

A small earthquake was reported in the region early Tuesday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was a magnitude 2.7 on the Richter Scale, which is a small quake.
The USGS reports the location of the quake was about halfway between Oakhurst and Fish Camp, near Highway 41. The nearest landmark, according to reports, is Lewis Creek North.
The depth of the quake was reported at around 20 kilometers. It happened at around 1:30 a.m.
