SF man suffers injuries in motorcycle accident

A San Francisco man suffered major injuries following a motorcycle wreck last weekend.
According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 1:35 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, Kenneth D. Smith, 53, was riding a 2001 Suzuki Hayabusa on Highway 49 North, north of Bear Valley.
The CHP said Smith was traveling southbound on the highway and “due to his speed,” was unable to negotiate a curve in the road. The motorcycle traveled across the northbound lane and onto the east dirt/gravel shoulder.
