Sellers wrong on tax accounting

Ruth Sellers sent a letter disputing my claim concerning the rising national public debt. It is set to rise by $1.3 trillion in calendar year 2018.
She is wrong about the tax revenues increasing for fiscal year 2018. Nominally they increased by 0.4 percent, but accounting for inflation of 1.9 percent, the nominal increase was a decrease of 1.5 percent.
