Team goes on road and wins in major pressure-packed situation

Coming into last Thursday’s match at Gustine, the Mariposa County High School boys soccer team knew it needed a win to advance to the postseason for the first time since the 2009/10 season, when current MCHS head coach Miguel Ramirez was on the high school team.
Whichever team won — MCHS or Gustine — was going to earn a berth in the playoffs.
