Public works updates to bring generator and extra storage of water

As discussion of a Covid-19 vaccine is up in the air, the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors are taking steps to prepare for the vaccine dispersion as they approved the motion to purchase and install an emergency power generator system totaling $82,582 for the health department clinic facility.
At last Tuesday’s meeting, Mike Healy, the public works director for Mariposa County, said the need for the generator is to provide backup power for the current health department on Highway 49 North.
