Coming flu season could be a big one

 Local health officials are bracing for what could be one of the bigger flu seasons of recent years.
This week, flu viruses were hitting Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas hard.
An early season in the south often portends a severe outbreak nationwide, Mariposa County health officer Dr. Charles Mosher said.
