Mariposa County Unified School District Superintendent Jeff Aranguena had a unique opportunity lately.
Aranguena, along with superintendents from Mono, Tuolumne, Sierra and Amador counties, had the chance to sit with State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond for nearly 90 minutes last Tuesday to discuss concerns for small school districts in California.
