After a summer of relative quiet, high winds across California could force power outages in 30 counties, including Mariposa County.
Though it was unknown as of our press time on Tuesday when, and where, any outages would occur, officials from Pacific Gas & Electric issued their warning on Monday morning.
PG&E cited the issuance of a “Fire Weather Watch” by the National Weather Service and said company officials were monitoring the situation closely in considering power outages.
