Since the increase in Covid-19 cases in Mariposa County over the past couple of months, cases are now beginning to slowly decrease.
Based on state model predictions, case numbers were expected to peak in Mariposa County around Aug. 18-20, but actually peaked on Aug. 17, Dr. Eric Sergienko, the Mariposa County Health officer, told the Gazette.
“In general our case numbers are trending slightly downward,” he said.
