My wife and I attended the Nov. 5, 2018 Mariposa County Board of Supervisors meeting.
Our interest specifically was an agenda item to be voted on for a emergency “temporary” homeless shelter (no more that 30 days) at the historic Darrah School, which is 13 miles from the town of Mariposa. After that, the shelter will be relocated in town, with plans in the future for a more permanent shelter. Services and health care are the logical reasons for having the homeless shelter in town.
