Officials attempt to get a handle on Madera Co. Covid-19 surge

Positive cases of Covid-19 continued to be tallied in Madera County in the last week, while local health officials met with state representatives to figure out what can be done to curb the spread.

As of Monday, Aug. 10, the total number of coronavirus cases reported rose to 2,463 with the addition of 161 new cases for three days over the weekend.
