The wheels of justice sometimes grind slowly.
That’s the story in the case of Robin Hopper, the former Mariposa County Unified School District Superintendent who was arrested in Planada in April for driving under the influence.
During the booking process, Hopper also allegedly bit a police officer.
The latest hearing in the Hopper case was a pre-preliminary hearing on Monday morning. Hopper was represented by her lawyer and was not present in Merced Superior Court during the hearing.
