I am writing in response to the front page article in the Aug. 1 issue of the Mariposa Gazette concerning the California Wilderness Coalition’s request to weigh in on the U.S. Forest Service plan and ask for more protection of the 46,298 area of Devil Gulch-Ferguson Ridge.
