A new program at Mariposa County High School will pair adult mentors with students to provide support and positive influences.
Principal Celeste Azevedo said a “number of students lack a mentor” in their lives. The school is currently working to establish the program, which will pair “seasoned” community members with students who may just need a friend or someone to look up to.
