New laws range dramatically

Anita Starchman-BryantWhile we were ringing in the new year, many new laws went into effect in California on Jan. 1. From guns to kids meals to straws, here are some that caught my eye.
Minimum wage
Senate Bill 3 was originally chaptered in 2016 and requires that the minimum wage be increased at the beginning of every year.
