A brand new after school program will begin in January for local middle school students.
This grant-funded program will be overseen by site coordinator Rose Fluharty as well as Mariposa County Unified School District assistant superintendent of educational services Celeste Azevedo. It will be open to all MCUSD students in grades 6-8.
“We are grant funded through the end of this school year. I’m looking at it as a pilot program. But we’re looking to continue it,” Fluharty explained.
