Missing his gas can

I live on Smith Road near the California Department of Motor Vehicles. On Aug. 8 at 3 p.m. a woman knocked on my door and said she was out of gas and needed to get to the hospital. I loaned her a five gallon galvanized red gas can about half full. She did not return the can.
She was in a white, older model pickup with a blue or gray primered door. A man was driving the pickup and a young child was also in the vehicle. (This was not a good lesson for the child.)
