Midpines park gets big addition





This scuffed-up sign is one of the only markers that identify Midpines County Park. The county on Tuesday approved 7.7 new acres for the park. The addition will extend to Carstens Road from an area to the left of the sign.Most people don’t think of Midpines County Park as a place for recreation, neighbor Gary Francisco said this week.
