On Saturday, March 16, the South Fork Merced River Trailblazers will be holding a volunteer day to work on Hite’s Cove Trail, Mariposa’s springtime wildflower trail.
Many wildflowers will be in bloom. This is likely the last single-day outing the trailblazers will host until November.
The purpose will be to repair damage to the trail caused by recent fires and storm events.
The trail is officially closed, but the group has a permit from the United States Forest Service to repair the trail.
