It doesn’t happen often, but the Mariposa County High School boys basketball team was blown out last Wednesday.
MCHS suffered a 70-41 loss at the hands of Sonora, in a road loss. The Grizzlies scored just six points in the second and fourth quarters, and that was their demise.
MCHS went into the second quarter knotted at 18 and into halftime trailing 31-24, but gave up a 25 point third quarter.
MCHS allowed Sonora to connect on eight shots from behind the arc.
