Funeral services for Mark David Krueger of Rochester, Minn., will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 21, at Concordia Lutheran Church of Pickerel Lake, rural Albert Lea, Minn.
Interment will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Pickerel Lake. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Mark died at his home in Rochester on Thursday, April 12, 2018. He was 61.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1956, in Albert Lea, the son of Loren M. and Dorothy E. (Dahlen) Krueger.
In 1952, the family moved to Rochester where Mark grew up and graduated from high school. He attended college in Colorado and then made his home in Yosemite National Park.
In 1997, Mark moved back to Minnesota where he had currently been working as a crossing guard for Rochester Schools, a job he truly enjoyed.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast and had a great interest in classic cars. He loved tinkering and working on stuff in his wood shop, always working on a project.
Mark will be remembered as a great storyteller and had a knack for making people laugh.
Mark is survived by his son Aaron Ludwig and his wife Melinda and their children Thatcher, Sutsie, and Abram of Yosemite National Park; brothers, Steve Krueger of El Paso, Texas, and Dennis (Carol) Krueger of Pine Island, Minn.; sister Susan (Terry) Sutton of The Villages, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Loren and Dorothy Krueger.
