Madera County numbers still on the rise, Newsom will assist

More than 1,700 cases now reported

Madera County has now reported more than 1,700 cases of Covid-19 and remains on the state’s watch list of counties with still-increasing positive case numbers.
Meanwhile, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that eight Central Valley counties will receive nearly $52 million for coronavirus testing, contact tracing, isolation and quarantine efforts.
