Leslie Roy Jordan, aka Lester, and Big Daddy, from Ahwahnee Calif., passed away in Fresno from health complications related to cancer on Jan. 31, 2020.
In a perfect world
Words are never spoken in anger
No ones heart is ever broken
There wouldn’t be so much left to say
Love is easy to find and lasts till the end of time
No one cries and no one leaves
If only we were in a perfect world
He would still be here
Yet love and bond won’t let death take away…
The many days and nights at San Francisco Giant’s Stadium (Go Gian’s!)
The long talks and the warm feeling that is still in our hearts
The interaction we witnessed of he and his grandchildren and his pets
His original stubbornness and determination
We wouldn’t even trade the stars for the memories
We are stronger for having loved him
He may not be with us here now but time will never take our treasured recollection
We are hoping to see family and friends of dad’s at noon on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 or Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 (if Covid restrictions still apply or travel from Canada is still prohibited), in Catheys Valley at the Catheys Valley Hall. Covid restrictions prevented our celebration of life potluck gathering last year so for further information/details please feel free to contact me at millsjuiceplus3@gmail.com and please RSVP.
I am bringing the main dish and drinks.
I am asking for last names beginning with A-M to bring salads/sides and names beginning with N-Z to please bring a dessert; maybe some of dad’s favorite foods.
We hope to see everyone there.
