Many churches and other organizations have “angel” programs at Christmas in which you can adopt a family who might not celebrate Christmas without some help. The church I served in Texas served as a central sorting place for the donations that came in. Every child got clothes and a wanted toy. Families also got the fixings for Christmas dinner.
