Jerry SeedFree Access

Jerry James Seed of Mariposa, Calif. passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019 in Merced, Calif.  Jerry was born on March 20, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minn.  

Jerry loved his family dearly, including his Lutheran Church family. He enjoyed his career in industrial food sales, his time spent giving back to his local community and the time he spent supporting Mariposa Manna House.  Jerry served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Jane Seed.  Jerry’s family and friends will miss him deeply.  Jerry is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 64 years, Nancy Shadduck Seed, their three children, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  

Services were held at the Mariposa Lutheran Church on Feb. 2, 2019. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Mariposa Manna House, P.O. Box 1484, Mariposa, CA 95338.
