James Edward Diaz was born Feb. 9, 1975.
James, beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, left this life too soon on Jan. 27, 2021.
James is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Allen, his brothers Calub and Justin Bolton and countless other family members.
James was a true warrior, an old soul. He was devoted to his family. Most of all, his “Mama Bear.” James loved the ways and traditions of his culture, his ancestors, his people. He loved hacky sack, hiking, beading, bonfires, fishing and much more.
He was so full of life. He is so very loved and missed. His song has ended but his echoes will forever live on. We will always remember you James, and the way you placed yourself in peoples’ hearts. James now soars with the creator and the ancestors; he watches his family and loved ones from above now, with love and pride.
Fly high James, we know that you are always with us in spirit.
There will be a service held for James at the Bootjack Fish and Game Hall on March 6, 2021 at 2 p.m.
