Homeless situation to change again

Program director Hal Nolen of the Alliance for Community Transformations has announced the establishment of Connections, a new homeless emergency shelter program in Mariposa County.
Connections will be replacing the existing county homeless shelter on Sept. 19.
“We are basically transferring management and location,” said Chevon Kothari, director of the Mariposa County Health and Human Services Agency.
