The issue of water and sewer rates in Coulterville appears to be headed toward a resolution — whether the ratepayers like the final outcome or not.
At the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors meeting last week, the board voted to move into a Proposition 218 process once again, in hopes of resolving the issue.
The issue has been a “long, arduous, touchy road laced with accusations and animosity,” said Supervisor Kevin Cann. “This was headed the wrong way for a long time.”
