Grizzlies roughed up by Merced’s netters

It was a rude awakening for the Mariposa County High School volleyball team when the Grizzlies traveled to Merced High School last week.
Mariposa was crushed by the Merced Bears, losing in three sets, 11-25, 19-25, 10-25.
“They had two girls who were over 6 feet tall and hit the snot out of the ball,” said MCHS coach Debbie Leonard.
MCHS was set to host Turlock Christian on Wednesday and will host Stone Ridge Christian this Thursday at 6 p.m.
