Girls soccer team blanks Le Grand

The Mariposa County High School girls soccer team improved to 10-1-2 overall and 10-1-1 in Southern League contests after two big wins last week.
“We had two good games,” said MCHS head coach Adam Finney.
Monday’s battle with the Waterford Wildcats ended with MCHS on top, 3-1.
Mariposa had chances to go 2-0 up on Waterford, but did not quite do it.
Lupin Amstutz scored early in the first half off of a steal and then slalom dribbled through three people and then beat the keeper.
