A workshop focusing on fruit is set this month in Catheys Valley.
The workshop, “Fruit: Preserve It, Serve It,” will be on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at McCay Hall. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop starts at 9. The fee is $15 and includes a light lunch.
The University of California Cooperative Extension office is sponsoring the event, which will include expert advice from UC Master Food Preservers.
