The 98th annual El Portal Travel Series (EPTS) has kicked off this winter season.
It is a series of evenings in which slides and stories are shared which feature local travelers and their adventures. It will be held on certain Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the Clark Community Hall in El Portal.
The first meeting was held Dec. 5 and featured Lawrence Garber documenting his experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in Sierra Leone.
