Another court hearing scheduled for Monday in controversial land case

A court hearing involving a controversial receivership case in Mariposa County is set for next Monday.
The case involves Jerry Cox, owner of Bison Creek Ranch, whose property was placed into receivership last year after the County cited more than 100 code violations on the property. A receivership action in California can be granted by a court and involves the appointed receiver to evaluate the property, including determining plans to either repair or demolish the property.
