Covid-19 case numbers ‘flirting’ with orange tier



Case numbers throughout the county and across the state are continuing to follow a slow, downward trend, but Mariposa County, along with the rest of the state, is not quite out of the woods yet.

Last week there were a total of 11 Covid-19 cases in Mariposa County, with the new daily average case rate at eight cases in a seven-day average, with four-day data lag. There needs to be an average rate of seven cases in a seven-day period to move down into the orange tier.
