County needs to think about all of its people

Last week, the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors voted to close down a portion of 7th Street in Mariposa in order to help local restaurants and other businesses.
The concept is to have tents and tables on the street so visitors, or even locals, can get takeout orders from downtown restaurants and have a place to sit and eat.
The Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce is also part of this project by providing manpower, including sanitizing of the area because of the ongoing pandemic.
