County completes key preparedness exercise




The county on Nov. 20 completed a large multiagency drill to rehearse how it would handle an Ebola case in a Yosemite visitor.
Emergency-service providers started the day with a pretend Park visitor presenting symptoms at the Yosemite Medical Clinic in Yosemite Valley. A short time later, the drill was repeated with a Cedar Lodge “guest” falling ill just outside the Park boundary, county Public Health Officer Dr. Charles Mosher related.
