County citizens sought for input from CA redistricting commission


The California Citizens Redistricting Commission is looking for input from the citizens of Mariposa County.

The group, charged by the legislature to handle redistricting following the 2020 census, will have its second Community of Interest (COI) public input meeting for this region. Mariposa County is in Zone G, which also includes Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Inyo, Mono and Tuolumne counties.

The virtual meeting will be held on Friday, Aug. 20, beginning at 2 p.m.
