Clifford S. Wass, 73, went peacefully in his sleep to be with his Lord and Savior on May 5, 2021. He was the second child of four, born March 24, 1948, to Clifford E. Wass and Nadine
P. Cabezut-Wass. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, June. Cliff is survived by wife, Debbie; stepdaughters Sara Hotchkiss and partner, Jason Burbidge and Katie Rule and husband, Justin; and his grandchildren, Calvin Burbidge, Gracie and Evan Rule. He is also survived by sister, Cathy Nelson and husband, Glen; sister, Jean Coleman and husband, Dave; brother, Bill (Pudder) Wass, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a jack-of-all -trades, served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army for total of 10 years, worked in logging, drove delivery trucks, worked in the building supply industry, worked construction, built log homes and became a general contractor.
After retirement, he worked as a handyman and volunteered as maintenance coordinator for New Life Fellowship.
His hobbies and interests included: gold panning, fishing, camping, darts, playing keno, he’d challenge anyone to a game of cribbage, he loved to dance and spend time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed and always remembered for his honesty, humor, humility, work ethic and love of God.
A Celebration of Life will be held at New Life Christian Fellowship on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, with a reception to follow. (More information to come).
