Charlton Larca



Our beloved Charlton “Larry” Larca went home to our Lord on May 21, 2018.

Larry was born Feb. 13, 1948 in Lihue Kauai, Hawaii.

Larry is survived by his wife Cynthia “Cindy” of Mariposa who currently resides in Hollister, Calif.; son, Sean Larca and his fiancé Elana and grandson Caleb Larca of Chandler, Ari.; daughter, Ember Kalama and husband Jeremy Eberhardt and grandchildren James Hoodecheck, Kalani Hoodecheck, Matthew Hoodecheck,

Abby Eberhardt and Walter Eberhardt of Fairbanks, Alaska; son, Kenneth Larca and grandchildren Adrianna Pluma, Luke Pluma, Allison Larca and McKenna Larca of Norfolk, Va.; and brother, Leroy Gabayan and wife Remi of Virginia.

Larry also has large extended family in Alaska and Hawaii.

As a young man, Larry drove a taxi and worked on the oil pipeline in Alaska. He worked as an auto mechanic in Hawaii and California most of his adult life.

In retirement, he enjoyed carpentry, fishing, photography and painting. Larry’s wish was that there be no services and that we carry his memory as we move forward in life.
