Betty Lou Knight Wilson, at the age of 82, a native of Natchez, Miss., and a longtime resident of Mariposa, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at a Merced hospital.
Betty was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where she met and married her late husband Stanley Leroy Wilson.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, and her youngest daughter, RoxAnn Shaddix.
Betty is survived by her daughter Angela Larson (RN) of Rantoul Ill., and her son, U.S. Army 1st Sergeant and Deputy
Sheriff Alfred Wilson (retired) and wife Rita of Fountain, Colo.; six grandchildren: Jeremy Larson, Shauna Boatright, Christopher Wilson, Dr. Alicia Wilson, Kierra Koontz and Kailah Cavagnaro; and eight great-grandchildren.
Due to the current health pandemic there will be a private interment.
