Beam me up so I can figure out how we will kill ourselves


 Recently, I read an interesting story about possible life elsewhere in the universe.
The basic premise of the article was it is almost mathematically impossible for there not to be life elsewhere in this vast universe.
With a major caveat.
But first, it is important to make at least some attempt to grasp the size of the universe.
The scientific community believes there are approximately 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the universe. That’s a billion trillion.
One or two, for sure.
