The emotional and sometimes contentious jury trial of a man accused of a number of sexual crimes ended on Tuesday with John Leonard Appling, 46, being found guilty on one of six counts.
Appling was found guilty of a lewd act upon a child, a felony. He will be sentenced on Tuesday, June 4, at 9 a.m.
