A Mariposa woman will serve jail time after being sentenced last week for stealing from the Mariposa County High School Grizzly Booster Club, as well as writing fraudulent checks.

Kaitlin Amos, 24, was found guilty of grand theft, a felony; making or delivering a check with insufficient funds, a misdemeanor; and identity theft, a misdemeanor.

She was sentenced by Mariposa County Superior Court Judge Dana Walton to three years of probation, along with 180 days in county jail...
