Rotary dedicates more historic plaques

On Thursday, Dec. 19, the Rotary Club of Mariposa dedicated three historic plaques in downtown Mariposa. The old Capital Saloon, Mariposa Meat Market and Gishel Hotel and Bakery were dedicated, and funding was provided by the Rotary Club, members of Rotary and property owners. The Mariposa County Landfill and Recycling Center will be closed Monday, Jan. 20 in recognition of Martin Luther King Day.
